Book jacket wraparound illustration for Hunter by Mercedes Lackey, published by Disney Hyperion and Art Directed by Marci Senders.
I don’t often get to illustrate creepy monsters so I jumped at the chance to work on this one. Unlike the majority of my illustrations, this one started as a digital sketch and then I worked the photo illustration on top of that. It’s a technique I’d like to continue as I think it helps to keep the process less constrained by available photo reference.
